Donors Work with The Cedar Falls Community Foundation

Residents of Cedar Falls enjoy many wonderful quality of life opportunities due, in part, to the generosity of Cedar Falls residents. Whether it is capital improvement projects or programs for youth, families, or adults, the citizens of Cedar Falls and vicinity enjoy an exceptional quality of life because of the generosity of our residents. The Cedar Falls Community Foundation was established to assist Cedar Falls in remaining a prosperous, growing, and progressive community for all of its citizens by assisting the establishment of endowments, donor advised funds, and other philanthropic giving.

Examples of projects and programs that have benefited from the Cedar Falls Community Foundation include, the Cedar Falls Recreation Center, College Hill Art Festival, the recreational trail system, downtown lighting, Cedar Falls Community Center, James and Meryl Hearst Center for the Arts, Veterans Memorial Park, the McLeod Center, Cedar Falls Woman’s Club, Paw Park, and Skate Park, to name a few. We encourage you to be a donor by endowing a cultural, recreational or civic opportunity for your family, friends and neighbors.

Community foundations serve their local communities. The Cedar Falls Community Foundation is dedicated to Cedar Falls and vicinity. The Trustees are from the community and are dedicated to strengthening the quality of life in Cedar Falls. Grant Portal to Open April 15; Award Nominations due April 10

Grant Portal Opening in April The Cedar Falls Community Foundation will accept applications to the Ella Rownd Trust and Diamond Arts & History Fund beginning April 15. Applicants must be nonprofit 501-c-3 organizations. Projects must benefit the citizens and community of Cedar Falls. Interested organizations are encouraged to call the CFCF before beginning an application,
